"Goa beach house?"

| Good Points: | Fatrade beach, Margao market |
| Bad Points: | Goa beach house |
Fatrade beach is basically an extension of Varca beach to the south. Stayed at Goa Beach House which is not located on the beach! Disappointing really, staff, service, food and general mood of the place. Bungalows and pool were nice and going to the beach.
We really wanted to stay on the beach, Fatrade beach is much quieter than Varca beach, nobody really walks along this beach so it feels more private. Also enjoyed taking rickshaws to Margao market for shopping and having a look around.
"Located next to Varca beach"

| Good Points: | islolated, walking on beach |
| Bad Points: | no restaurants in the area, no lifeguards |
Fatrade beach is located just to the south of Varca beach.. important to know since our hotel was located there and nobody at Goa Airport knew where it was. We almost ended up in a place called Fatorda which is nowhere near this beach and inland!
Fatrade beach is isolated except for a couple of budget beach resorts in the area. You have to walk further up the beach north is you want a cold drink or food from a beach shack. This beach is basically just an extension of Varca beach, nice for walking but no lifeguards around so we didn’t feel like it was safe for swimming.
