Main Attractions and Sites (in and around the beach)
Colomb Beach, Goa does not offer anything that can be comparable to the touristy and commercial atmosphere of Palolem beach. Here you will find more quiet and natural beauty rather than the carnival hoo-ha of Palolem beach just a little ahead. You also have trips that showcase dolphins, water sports, boating and bird-watching.
Everything around this place is amazing. As you walk along Colomb Beach, Goa, you would wonder how could so much beauty and tranquility be found so close to the hugely tourist-loved Palolem?
Besides the mind-blowing natural beauty, Colomb Beach, Goa is a great place for swimming, surfing and many other water sports.
A little known attraction close to Colomb Beach, Goa is the Pandava’s (Mahabharata Epic fame) Drum. This is a large, yet peculiar rock; if you throw a stone correctly at it, it could make a resounding noise just as a drum would.

"Bhakti Kutir & Colomb beach… not what we expected!"

| Good Points: | Palolem, Patnem and Agonda beaches |
| Bad Points: | Bhatki Kutir |
Although Bhakit Kutir is wonderfully located in a small jungle between Patnem and Palolem beaches, it was not what we expected. Overpriced and too many mosquitos. Huts were lovely, but the ones on the beach are just about the same. Also Colomb beach isn’t much of a beach…. A few places here and there to swim but water not very clean and rocky. Best to stay on Patnem or Palolem beaches… you can find beach huts directly on the beach!
"A Magical Spot"

| Good Points: | Pure and simple |
| Bad Points: | too less accommodation options... |
Just a G R E A T spot between Palolem beach and Patnem beach, it is not a sun bathing beach n the sandy way of description... it is not for swimming as there are knife shark rocks in the water but it is probably one of the nicest place to stay in Goa! There is one beach hut place called "Laguna Vista" which is nice and having live music performance every Saturday night. also nice Tibetan momos are served. As for accommodation in Colmb beach... it is not such a simple thing to get especially during Christmas time. If you'll come around October you will manage to find a good room to stay or to rent a nice house, most of the nice houses are booked for long time by foreigners who are staying here around the year or tourists who come every season to Goa for 6 month stay. ahhh "Bom Shankar" restaurant is the top culinary treat and marked as the best restaurant in colomb. needless to mention that if you want to find accommodation around u can find the intercontinental 2 beaches from there only and many many beach huts to book in Palolem and huts in Patnem. I have heard also that now sites are opting for us to be able to book online beach huts in Goa... Way to go technology - LOL :-)
"Not much of a beach"

| Good Points: | walking from Rajbaga beach, Sandwich and Ice Cream from Suraj shop |
| Bad Points: | not much of a beach |
After sitting at the pool and our beach chairs for a week while staying at the Intercontinental Hotel on the Rajbag beach, my wife, kids and I decided to the adjacent beaches. During low tide you can walk from the Rajbag beach where the hotel is situated to the Patnem beach. Patnem beach is more of a hippie hang out, many beach huts and shacks on the beach and tourist too. At the far end of Patnem beach is a small shop where you can get ice cream and small beach café for omlette sandwiches. Suraj was lovely and told us to keep walking down the road to the Colomb beach. There were a few jewelry and clothes shops along the road and kept going until we arrived into a small village. There’s a couple of bays along the way but no good for swimming. The first bay has a rocky beach and the second has more fishing boats than a beach. Colomb beach was a lovely place to walk to, but the Patnem beach is better for swimming.
"More like a fishing village beach"

| Good Points: | India Community feel, beautiful sunsets |
| Bad Points: | Dirty, not really a place to swim |
Colomb Beach is more like 2 or 3 small beaches inside a fishing village. Beautiful place to stay in between Palolem and Patnem beaches, lots of budget hotels / beach resorts around. Locals are great, many ex pats around and good place to take dolphin trip from... but main Colomb beach is bit dirty and too many rocks at other beaches for good swimming.
