"Perfect beach holiday in Goa!"
| Date of Stay: | March 2011 |

| Travelling Style: | Family & Kids |
| Good Points: | Betalbatim beach, Villagio Inn |
| Bad Points: | north Goa |
Villagio Inn is a relaxed place and perfect for a family beach holiday in Goa! What I liked the most about the hotel was the large rooms, especially if you are traveling with young kids. This is a new hotel, the rooms, resort and property are extremely well maintained.
Best of all it's located very near to Betalbatim Beach which is very calm with just 3-4 shacks and a great place to relax. No big crowds here or loud noise, just beach, sun, sand, water and gorgeous palm trees.
I treasured the local village of Betalbatim, the people, shops, supermarket, chemist, barber and travel agent to change money at better rates than hotel. Southern Goa is much more peaceful than the hustle and bursting crowds of north Goa. Overall, blissful experience.
"Sunset beach Betalbatim!"

| Good Points: | Sunset beach, Betalbatim beach, Martins Corner, Chai shop |
| Bad Points: | hotel not close to the beach |
Although are hotel was not on the beach, we had a wonderful Goa holiday at the Aila Diwa near Sunset beach in Salcette. Hotel is located near a famous Goan restaurant called Martins Corner, great seafood, Indian food and live music.
You can take a shuttle bus from the hotel to Sunset beach or Betalbatim beach, Sunset beach is closer, or you can walk to the beach, about 20 minutes. We always preferred to walk since our favorite Chai shop was on the way. We had been traveling through Thailand, Cambodia, Sri Lanka and finally India. Felt like the Goan people were the friendliest, always smiling and extremely helpful.
Sunset beach was a somewhat dirty, garbage and small oil slick on the beach when we first arrived, probably washed up from a brief thunder storm the night before. But as the days went on, the beach became cleaner.
A few sunbeds on the beach, you don’t get hassled and great food in the beach shacks as you walk up to Betalbatim beach. Beach is lined with coconut trees and get to see a unique sunset every day which makes is very picturesque.
"Beach flat holiday in Goa"

| Good Points: | beach flats in Goa, Greenlands fish curry |
| Bad Points: | beach crowded on weekends |
Hi, just returned from our holiday in Goa at Belalbatim beach. This is our 3rd time coming back to south Goa and it gets better every time! First time we stayed at Majorda Beach Resort for all inclusive Goa beach vacation.. last year we stayed at Coconut Grove and really enjoyed it. This year we decided a self contained flat might be more practical. Through the internet we booked Betalbatim Flats, it was clean, large had all the amenities you need and it had a wonderful semi-private swimming pool.
Beautiful Betalbatim beach is only a 10 minute walk away down Lovers lane… :) Beach erosion has washed some parts of the beach away and its not as wide as it used to be a few years ago. Walking up to the north is Sunset beach, very popular with the locals and to the south is Colva Beach. Betalbatim beach is ideal spot, not too crowded, early in the morning you can sometimes see dolphins out at sea and large eagle like birds fishing too. Don’t miss Greenlands beach shack a short walk up the beach for amazing fish curry, Martins Corner off the village road for an authentic Goan Seafood dinner and the Pentagon for an even drink a music.
