Comment:

Vagator beach is more rocky than sandy… but the best part is simply sitting on the rocks and watching life pass you by and of course a beautiful sunset too.

Good Points: Little Vagator, Shalom Guesthouse, Sublime and Beam Me Up restaurants
Bad Points: names of places in India
Comment:

FYI for all travelers going to Vagator beaches.. Big Vagator beach is actually called Ozran beach and Little Vagator is simply known as Vagator beach. Great budget hotel is Shalom Guesthouse, clean, friendly staff and best location. Don’t miss Sublime restaurant on the way to Anjuna… and Beam Me Up for delicious shakes, salad’s and pizza in Vagator village.

Beach, rocks, waves, palm trees, and the sun going down into the sea.. what more can you ask for when taking the perfect sunset photo. And for nightclubbing action.. check out the Nine bar!

Good Points: Fish Tail beach shack, Leoney’s Resort
Bad Points: Russian tourist
Comment:

Best place to enjoy a beautiful sunset and cocktails is the Fish Tail beach shack on ‘Little’ Vagator beach. Great drinks, vibe and one of the coolest places to be in Goa. Little Vagator beach is also best place for swimming and sunbathing.. truly paradise. Stayed at Leoney’s Resort only a 5 min walk to the beach, very nice rooms and amazing swimming pool. Unfortunately many Russian tourist were there and felt more like a Hedonism resort. Resort owners were great and tried their best to quiet down the crowd at times.

Good Points: Big Vagator beach, Thalassa's Restaurant, GoaBooking!
Bad Points: hotel food, sea rough at times, little Vagator beach
Comment:

Just came back from spending our 3 week winter holiday in Goa. We tried booking our favorite hotel in Anjuna beach before leaving but it was full. Ended up having to book our hotel in Goa for the first time on the internet and found this site GoaBooking.com. Next to the big travel sites that don’t show all the hotels in Goa, this travel website for Goa is fantastic! We were looking for budget accommodation and found Jackpot Inn in Vagator beach. Pictures of the swimming pool and room looked nice so we booked the room.

Hotel was new, clean and walking distance from beach. Good value but wouldn’t recommend the hotel food… It was actually our first time staying in Vagator beach, and it was a good change from crowded Anjuna. Vagator is also split into 2 beaches, little Vagator and big Vagator beach. Both are ok for swimming but can get rough at times. Like better the big beach since there was more space. Also great restaurants around… must go to Greek place Thalassa and My Place for Italian! Mi amore!
