Looking for that deserted beach with a mind blowing view? Go to Quirim beach on north Goa on the border of Maharashtra!!! About an hours drive from Baga beach. Once you get there take the 10min ferry ride across the lake to Tiracol Fort. Hang out on the beach, go to the fort for a drink and enjoy the view!!

| Good Points: | beach shacks, Goan food, sunsets, paragliding |
| Bad Points: | not for swimming |
I wouldn’t really recommend Kerri beach Goa beach for swimming… even for someone from OZ, waves a bit rough at times. Great place to hang with mates, eat some goan fish curry rice in a beach shack, have a cold kingfisher beer or two :) and simply enjoy the breathtaking view! Oh yeah, almost forgot… paragliding is gold here. A nice day trip from Arambol beach and think it’s the most northern beach in Goa… locals kept saying ‘next beach Maharashtra, no more Goa, stay here beer cheaper’ lol

My wife and I were staying at the beautiful Casa Palacio Siolim House in Siolim, Goa and decided to take a scooter bike ride to some of the north Goa beaches. On our way to Arambol beach when somebody told us to check out Keri beach since another Goa heritage hotel was located there. Had a bit of trouble finding it since its also known as Quirim beach to the locals! Pleasantly surprised when we finally arrived… beach was almost deserted, only a few restaurants and beach hut shacks scattered around, not many tourist and the beach was simply beautiful. Overlooking the beach is Tiracol Heritage Fort that dates back to the 16th century.. and inside the fort we had amazing lunch at the Tiracol Fort Heritage Hotel!! WOW!! Great view, very romantic place and came back to stay a few nights before ending our vacation. Driving around Goa / India and finding hidden treasures like this will always be special to us.

superb neat and clean accommodation, with bed room linen change every 2 days with bath room amenities. Even when there was power shortage main room lights and fan worked without any power cut to these units.
Bathroom supplied with hot water heated on gas geyser so no prob of power cut at any time of the day.
