Siridao Beach, Goa is an immensely beautiful beach most popular for the surrounding caves.  One of the best places to collect shells, Siridao beach, Goa is a delight for young and old alike. Perched prettily on the banks of the Zuari River, you get to enjoy the spectacular splendor of nature both from the River side as well as from the Arabian Sea.

Accommodation is a little sparse in and around Siridao Beach, Goa. The best bet for you is to look for accommodation in Panjim/Panaji (Capital City of Goa) or Dona Paula, both within minutes distance from the Siridao Beach, Goa.

Right on Siridao Beach, Goa is the Bambolim Beach Resort (3 stars) where you could enjoy a comfortable stay at reasonable prices. The nearest airport, Dabolim is about 30 kms from Siridao Beach, Goa and the Karmali railway station about 15 kms away. A mere 8 kms away from Panjim/Panaji, Siridao Beach, Goa is a great choice for a day-picnic that would leave you breathless with joy.

Siridao Beach, Goa is famous for its proximity to the Chapel of Jesus of Nazareth, which is a revered pilgrimage spot during the Easter for Christians. Another exceptional chapel here is known as Holy Souls Chapel - designed by none other than Lucio Miranda and build in 1973. The chanting of 10 lakhs Hail Mary’s sanctified this Chapel, for which it is considered a holy place by Christians.

Another holy place close to Siridao Beach, Goa is the Cross of Flowers, which is said to have miraculous healing powers.

Check out the awe-inspiring three statues playing musical instruments and a dog (statue) at the entrance of Siridao village. These statues are part of a legend about a priest who fell into a tunnel at Siridao Beach, Goa. His dog accompanied him. While the priest was never heard of again, the dog after a while came out reinforcing the belief that there could be an under-terrain tunnel network that links all Churches in Goa.

There is another legend about this village where it says there was a huge man-like creature by the name of Paulist, who once upon a time lived in this peaceful village.

A great place for water sports, you could actually jet-ski all the way from Siridao Beach, Goa to Dona Paula beach about 12 kms away, and back for a thrilling and exhilarating experience.

Siridao Beach, Goa is one of the best locations for people who love to take a good swim in the sea.

A prime tourist destination in North of Goa, Sinquerim Beach is definitely an area earmarked for the more affluent traveler. Here is the beach where one of the best-preserved and majestic historical buildings, the Aguada Fort is located.

Sinquerim Beach, Goa is proud of this important heritage building, that is now inspired a luxurious 5-star hotel by the same name that offers all the modern trappings of a Goa luxury 5-star hotel in the amazing setting of a 16th Century fort. Aquada Fort itself is now converted into Goa Central Jail – which is also the state largest prison.

There are two bays that form Aguada Bay – Sinquerim Bay and Caranzalem Bay. Sinquerim Beach, Goa is part of the huge beach that stretches from  Aguada Bay until the mouth of the Baga River covering a number of beaches – Sinquerim, Candolim, Calangute and Baga.

There are plenty of restaurants that offer mouth-water delicacies, though they are a little pricey. If you are looking for a bargain/ budget meal, Sinquerim Beach, Goa is not the right beach. Best is to move along to Calangute or Mapusa where you can have great food at any budget.

Located at about 42 kms away form Dabolim airport and 20 kms from the Karmali Railway station, the Goa Sinquerim Beach, Goa is easily approachable from any major city in India.

The Goa Sinquerim Beach, Goa is just about 15 kms away from Panjim/Panaji the Capital City of Goa and about 2 kms away from its twin beach – the Candolim beach. Mapusa – the market city in the North Goa – is about 11 kms away.

A must-see when you are here is Aguada Fort – the 16th Century Fortress build by the Portuguese to protect the Bay from invasion into the Mandovi River. A little further from Aguada Fort is the Aguada Lighthouse which leaves you spellbound at night.

A little further from Sinquerim Beach, Goa is the Nerul village, which is not only a very beautiful fishermen village, but also boats of one very inviting and picturesque smaller beach – Coco beach.
