"Good, but not 5-star"
| Date of Stay: | July 2010 |
| I am from: | Bangalore, India |
| Trip Style: | Family & Kids |
| Good Points: | Service, casino is a great attraction |
| Bad Points: | Very isolated, not so good access to beach, |
I did not like the approach road to the hotel or the beach. I found it isolated and a little oddly located. Rooms are good and the restaurant served multi cuisine. The staff were superb, especially with kids.
The Kerala Ayurvedic Center was one of our stay’s highlights. Loved the massages and we indeed felt the better for it. Another great thing here is the evening poolside barbeque.
I found it slightly costly, but I cannot say I grudged that because I felt good and comfortable here. The downside was the beauty parlor, which was very superficial and the Indian food, whch was quite disappointing. Best is to try the Goan favorite fish curry and rice. We could not have enough. Insist in having Kingfish slices fry, and grilled prawns.
The hotel is good; we loved it. Not exactly 5-start but we loved to be there.
Nice but could be much better!!

"Nice but expected better!"
| Date of Stay: | May 2010 |
| I am from: | Bhubaneswar, Orissa |
| Trip Style: | Group of friends |
| Good Points: | Close to Panjim, the capital of Goa; great hospitality |
| Bad Points: | Breakfast average, not upto 5 star standards |
We were happy with our stay at this hotel. But this is not really 5-star as it says. It is rather small and there are many things that are nto like 5-star. Food is average to bad and very costly.
The location is a little too secluded and the train path leading to the beach is a little creepy. The beach seemed to be more of Cidade de Goa than Vainguinim Resorts.
Nice but could be much better!!
