"GREAT PLACE!!! "

| Good Points: | Best choice for a family vacation |
| Bad Points: | Loud at night |
Something that stayed with us is the newspaper was promptly delivered at 5.00 AM. Everything that you do is now measured carefully. Most of the staff have an uncanny way to know what you want when you want. Water was given complimentary. Dessert, was unimaginably good. Do not deny yourself this out of the world experience.

| Good Points: | Very self-sufficient place; friendly and highly effective service |
| Bad Points: | We have nothing to say here |
Out of three dyas we spent 2 rained so had to spend most time in the hotel. There is enough to do while you are inside, so we never got bored. You have a splendid property here.
We spend time discovering things in the hotel and having fun in general. We were very happy with the hospitality and love received at this hotel. I think this is a very nice place to stay.

| Bad Points: | Money making racket |
Comfortable stay at this hotel. The landscaping takes your breath away. Coffee was awful Food not upto the mark. Expensive. You can eat outside for one eighth of the price. Check Betty’s place for the best meat dishes. Mike’s shack is also good. Pearl’s Shack is a local favorite and good too.
Nothing to see around the hotel, which is also dirty outside. Staff are very helpful and that was a good think about staying here.

"NOT what I expected from this hotel!!"
| Date of Stay: | July 2010 |
| I am from: | Venezuela |
| Trip Style: | Leisure |
| Good Points: | Luxurious interiors |
| Bad Points: | Too secluded; a lot is taken for granted for the Indian guests and fawned upon the white skin girls |
Found the hotel overpriced and removed from the mainstay, which was disappointing. Room service was poor. Though fresh fruit was supposed to be offered daily I got it only twice in my 10 days stay. I found no slippers or bathrobes in the room.
Food was good, but I have had better. The TV in the room is from another era. Staff are good, but they could be more responsive especially when information is asked of them,
The women gardeners wore very dirty and poorly maintained uniforms. Hated to see them dressed that way in 5 star hotel where everything should be perfect.
Property was superb, landscaping outstanding. Overall an average fare for the price.

The Leela is beyond comparison. We have always stayed here and we always simply loved the place. Especially that each unit has its own lagoon. Also loved that you could walk up to the backwaters that join the sea from the property.
It would be good if you have an all-inclusive booking since the location of the hotel is a little removed from the mainstream. Loved the smoked salmon. Indian food not too great, particularly the vegetarian fare.
The staff are super friendly which add to the pleasure of your stay

"LOVED THIS HOTEL!!!"

| I am from: | Bangalore, India |
| Trip Style: | Family & Kids |
| Good Points: | Bar next to pool superb; friendly manager; hugely spacious rooms |
| Bad Points: | Ignorable |
Had a lovely spacious room big enough to accommodate all 6 members of my family. Loved the discotheque in the basement. The manager – I think he was Belgian – was the best. Food is very costly. Better visit the shack on the beach, Pearl’s shack. This is the place where most of the staff of Leela also eat 'n' party. Great poolside bar.

"75 Acres of Comfort!!!"

| I am from: | Birmingham, UK |
| Trip Style: | Romantic/Honeymoon |
| Good Points: | Food good; remarkable hospitality; impressive from all angles |
| Bad Points: | Service a little slow; too costly inside |
Yet to find a better hotel in Goa. 75 acres of comfort and hospitality. I also think this hotel has the most impressive landscaping I have ever seen.
The beachside shacks seafood is a must have for anyone who loves seafood. The prices are international 5 star, meaning expensive. We spent about £100 on food and drinks alone daily for two people.
The other two restaurants are smashing too. Found the service a little slow, but the staff was friendly and always courteous and helpful.

"POSH!! INVITING!! SUPERB HOSPITALITY!!!"
| Date of Stay: | August 2010 |
| I am from: | Hyderabad, India |
| Trip Style: | Romantic/Honeymoon |
| Good Points: | Activity room for kids, pool is superb, spa best ever, food delicious, service faultless, rooms classic |
| Bad Points: | Internet was not functional during our 5 day stay - but we were never charged for it either |
Leela’s hospitality is second to none; and the Goa Leela outdoes all other hotels in India. This is one of our hot favorites as we have come here for the 7th time and we cannot even think of checking in any other hotel ever – for no one can take care of you better than the Leela!!
The Internet was not working well and we were not charged for it at all – which is what you actually expect from a class hotel like this!! ?
We were there only for 5 days, but these were the best 5 days vacation we had in a very long time. We were specially pampered by Arjum (Manager) and our personal buttler, Shankar. A special mention to the floor hostess, Danjhita who was charm personified. The property is amazing and the personal attention that you receive makes the experience even better.
We loved the food – BEST PRAWNS WE EVER HAD were served at the Jamavar restaurant – and we found that we were looking forward to the meal times.
The beach is clean and amazing!!!But the best is the swimming pool that is not only beautiful but also comfortable and welcoming.
Everything in this hotel is superlative. What we love most is that its ambiance makes you forget of the world outside – Leela does that to you. We had the most wonderful 5 days vacation ever!! WOW!! LEELA ROCKS!!!

"A WORLD CLASS HOTEL!!!"
| Date of Stay: | September 2010 |
| I am from: | New Delhi, India |
| Trip Style: | Family & Kids |
| Good Points: | Friendly staff, superb ambiance, amazing rooms, wow pool, great food |
| Bad Points: | Absolutely none |
They had a lovely coach waiting for us on our arrival and we were welcomed with hot towels. The 50 minutes drive was fun and informative. Checked in the Premier Conservatory room which was simply superb. Had a lovely bedroom with the lagoon view, a huge and very comfortable bathrooms, two plasma TVs – one in the drawing room and one in the bedroom – and all the trapping you expect in a luxury 5-star Goa hotel.
The property is HUGE and for its guests, Leela provides buggy carts. There are, I think more than 60 available for use of guests. Take advantage of this and check out their spice garden – simply AMAZING!!!
We had an all inclusive booking so we did not bother about the food ordering – and we were not disappointed. The food was SUPERB!!
We have a 2 and half years daughter and we needed to have hot milk at odd hours. We always got the milk as we asked for it, and we were NEVER charged for it. Awesome! Apropos charges, my wife announced that it was my birthday the last but one day of our stay, and we got a huge (and very tasty) cake and a beautiful bottle of wine to celebrate on the house.
The activity room is just GREAT! I loved it so much that I spent about 2 hours playing with my daughter in there. For children who are older than 5, there are baby sitters and very nice games.
The pool and the spa are definitely something everybody should try out. My wife became a huge fan of the spa which is comparable to the best in the world.
Since we were in Goa off season, there was not much activity on the beach, but the river side more than made up for it. We had all the water sports and boating were hugely entertaining. I did not miss the season all because there was nothing left to miss.
Would you believe that out of the 15 days we came to Goa, I actually went out only about 5 days effectively for sightseeing? This hotel provides you a world on its own!! THE BEST HOLIDAY WE HAD!!!

We are regulars of this hotel. We are coming every year for our vacation and in February 2011, we will be returning to stay at this WONDERFUL hotel for the 22nd time!! Need we say any more?? This is a place that just calls you again and again and again.
This is as great a hotel as can be. The Leela chain of hotels is the best wherever you go, but I think that had a special thing when they made the Goa one! We just love this place!! TOO GOOD!! TOO GOOD!!!

"VERY BEAUTFUL PLACE!! "
| Date of Stay: | September 2010 |
| I am from: | London, UK |
| Trip Style: | Leisure |
| Good Points: | Classy place, gracious staff, great food, had local places nearby which you can explore |
| Bad Points: | Pricey food (£50-100 per person per meal!!) but superb, a little away from the real Goa |
This hotel has great class – the property, the rooms, the ambiance – everything is superb. Everything in this hotel is indeed 5-star and I loved everything in here. The downside is that the food is very expensive – European standards – though superb. I could not stop eating even though it was pricey. The food in Goa all over is good. I discovered that beach shacks provide mouthwatering seafood at a fraction of the price that Leela restaurants serve – and I gorged and gorged. Be sure you ask the price before you order though as there are shacks that charge exorbitantly from tourists.
Special thanks to Ajay – Manager catering – who was always ready to customize a dish for me. I loved the hotel casino and the dance floor. I was surprised to see that they have pottery classes besides golf, archery and stuff that you do not usually get at hotels in India.
The swimming pool is out of this world with the waterfall and side bar and all. Superb arrangements, magnificent design and faultless maintenance.
We hardly ventured out of the hotel, because we felt too happy with what we got inside. Superb place for honeymooners!!!

"I EXPECTED MUCH, MUCH MORE!! "
| Date of Stay: | October 2010 |
| I am from: | New Delhi, India |
| Trip Style: | Family & Kids |
| Good Points: | Luxurious rooms |
| Bad Points: | Service poor, food poor, prices too expensive |
I am Italian but married in India and we have two children aged 3 and 5. We came for a weekend break and was so disappointed. The service was the poorest ever. We asked for something and they came so late that we forget why we called.
Food was bad. Indian food is good (though very spicy) – but all other is bad. We ordered for pasta for children and it came overcooked and without taste. The children did not eat a thing. The high chairs were dirty – which I did not expect from a 5-star hotel of Leela Kempiski’s stature. The buffet served almost the same food on both days for dinenr.
I really expected much more considering that there is no compromise of the 5-star prices!!

| I am from: | Zurich, Switzerland |
| Trip Style: | Romantic/Honeymoon |
| Good Points: | Truly 5 star ambiance, staff exceptional, luxurious interiors, superb suites, amazing swimming pool, lovely beach |
| Bad Points: | Nothing, absolutely nothing |
I have never ever felt so good ever. Right from the moment I stepped in the hotel until the last minutes, I was treated like a king. Whatever I asked for was complied with within minutes. The suite superb – the view superb – the restrooms oollaalaa!
Superb party organized for the New Year – though expensive – I loved the every minute of it.
I have read only good reviews about this hotel – and now I know why. There is nothing negative about it at all!!!
MY MOST UNFORGETABLE VACATION TO INDIA!

"The Best FIVE STAR hotel in GOA!! "
| Date of Stay: | September 2010 |
| I am from: | Lancashire, UK |
| Trip Style: | Leisure |
| Good Points: | Stunning rooms, huge property, faultless service, impressive pool, superb Indian food, luxury reinvented |
| Bad Points: | Isolated location |
There is not one thing I can say off about the hotel itself. Every aspect of this hotel is perfected and as a guest I felt cared for and pampered even. The service is superb with staff that are well trained, courteous and always ready to help. I loved the food – not the continental one, but the Indian one which I think is the best I have eaten yet in India. This is truly fingerliking good – ask for the Chef’s fish at the Beach Restaurant; it is the most amazing seafood dish I ever had. The Chef of this restaurant has superb talent - I think his name was Sricant.
Outside the walls of the superb hotel, there is another story. Location being isolated on Mobor beach, it is a long way from anything of interest. There are excursions organized by the hotel, which are good no doubt, but I would have liked to discover the city on my own a little. I walked down the beach to Cavelosim and liked a lot. It took about 20 minutes – and worth the walk. I discovered a superb beach side restaurant there – Mike’s Place which serves some great food at prices that are unbelievable. The village life is slow and mesmerizing.
If you want to go out, use taxis outside the hotel as the hotel’s are expensive.
The hotel is THE BEST ever!! Worth every penny you spend in here.
