"BEST SERVICE; GREAT PLACE!!"
| Date of Stay: | October 2010 |
| I am from: | New Delhi, India |
| Trip Style: | Family & Kids |
| Good Points: | Service is unmatched, good rooms, good facilities, beach within walking distance, two lovely swimming pools |
| Bad Points: | Staff looking after the kids zone need to be more informed/ trained |
We checked in for a package for 3nights/4days and did not like the room. The management changed our room within minutes, which was really impressive. No questions asked. The rooms are smallish but very cozy and comfortable. You feel immediately at home.
My wife for specific foods outside the menu and the hotel obliged at no extra charges. This is hugely commendable.
The hotel organizes tours and gives travel assistance. It is good; however, the outside private taxis are more economical and often just as good.
The only drawback we found was that the staffs overlooking the entertainment zone for kids were a little raw. It was obvious that the staff were not trained well enough.
Overall a great experience; very commendable!!

| Good Points: | Swimming pools, food, rooms, spa |
| Bad Points: | Slow room service, needs maintenance of bathrooms |
The place is very clean which is a great plus point and the housekeeping good. The food is good and the amenities does not leave you wanting for anything. The spa is good though it may need a little maintenance.
The staff are very caring and this is another great plus point. Rooms are small but nice and cozy. Room service needs improvement. Too slow.
This is a great place for a family vacation. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here!!

"A Holiday To Remember!!"
| Date of Stay: | November 2010 |
| I am from: | Munich, Germany |
| Trip Style: | Leisure |
| Good Points: | Great place, superb facilities, good service, very friendly atmosphere |
| Bad Points: | A little worn out in places, the spa could do with a little upgradation |
Stayed for a week at this lovely hotel and enjoyed it every minute. Goan people are very friendly – that I know, but I have experienced it first hand in this hotel. This is my second time in Goa – and judging from this experience there will be many more vacation to India in the future.
The hotel is beautiful, and though a little worn out in places – this actually adds to its charm. The spa is okay and the overall entertainment factor is great.
The best part is the attitude of the staff – always at your disposal. This is perhaps the one reason why I have enjoyed my stay at Majorda so much.
Will definitely come back for more!! GREAT PLACE!!

"Awesome Place!! Even More Awesome Experience!!"
| Date of Stay: | November 2010 |
| I am from: | Cochin, India |
| Trip Style: | Leisure |
| Good Points: | I loved everything about this hotel |
| Bad Points: | A little old in places; rooms on the smaller side but with superb view |
It seems this is one of the oldest 5-star hotels in Goa. It shows in some places and it would do with some renovation. But its atmosphere and caring nature of its staff more than make up for it. In the end all I remember is that I felt pampered, happy, relaxed and had a JUMBO GREAT TIME.
Though not a modern resort, you will not lack anything here. It has both indoor and outdoor swimming pools – which is a great plus. Best time to visit in October-December as the Goa weather is at its best then.
LOVED IT!! LOVED IT!! LOVED IT!!!

| I am from: | New Delhi, India |
| Trip Style: | Leisure |
| Good Points: | Great location, friendly ambiance, awesome service and staff, cozy rooms with excellent view of the Arabian Sea, awesome pools, nice food, beautiful garden, great WC/ restroom fittings |
| Bad Points: | Some places need renovation |
This is one hotel that I total loved for its warmth and very personalized attention – unlike any other 5-star hotel in Goa that I know. Another exception to the rule here is that this hotel offers delicious food. The buffet offered by the hotel is praise worthy.
Service and staff are superlative. I have not felt so comfortable for a long time – and I always stay at luxury star hotels. The ambiance at this hotel is definitely different in a good way!!
Wholeheartedly recommend it to all who want a great vacation in Goa!!

"Relaxing and very friendly!"
| Date of Stay: | February 2011 |
| I am from: | Manchester, UK |
| Trip Style: | Leisure |
| Good Points: | Friendly, very friendly staff and management, large swimming pool, classy, superb view of the Arabian Seas from the room, a very special private beach, hotel serves food/ snacks/ drinks on the beach, food too good |
| Bad Points: | Pool needs better maintenance |
Been recommended to stay at this hotel by friends and this is the first time for me here. I cannot say that I am disappointed! Everything was relaxing here. This hotel is not like other 5-star Goa hotels; it is more relaxed, more people friendly and more connected.
The food deserves a special mention for it was really good; not the usual cut-n-dry fare of 5-star hotels. The buffet spread was large and varied and we did enjoy the local cuisine very much.
This place has a superb travel desk. We were guided and assisted for all our needs and they did a superb job. I was told that private taxis would have charged a mite less; but I enjoyed the superb customized service offered by the hotel. I think the extra charges were okay for the service.
I liked everything about this place. I will definitely come again!!

"NICE PLACE!"
| Date of Stay: | February 2011 |
| I am from: | Bangalore, India |
| Trip Style: | Leisure |
| Good Points: | Great buffet spread, private beach that is clean and exceptionally well maintained, free cocktails in the evening (7.30 – 8.30 PM), great kids zone, huge, huge property, two swimming pools, phenomenal rooms |
| Bad Points: | Would have preferred car instead of the air-conditioned bus; it needs renovation in some places |
We stayed here for a brief vacation of 5 days and loved it. My children loved the swimming pool, kids zone and the personalized attention of the hotel staff. We loved the rooms which have their own individual balcony, and the very attentive staff. Of course, it is expected in a 5-star luxury hotel – but even so, we enjoyed the service. I particularly loved that the thing that staff offer you fresh towels every time one goes to the beach or pool.
A great plus point is that the food is delicious. We have stayed and eaten at a couple of 5-star hotels in Goa and the food was never something to look forward to. At Majorda, food is great. The buffet spread is huge and the breakfast is good.
Another thing I liked very much about this place is that the staff goes out of the way to make children feel good. Indirectly, it is the parents who feel good – with this gesture. This scored big with both of us. The fact that the kids loved the place and felt totally at home was a great plus point.
This is a place which is 5-star in all the good ways – friendly, informal, caring and personalized. We loved our stay here!!
Lovely place!!

"Superb Place!!"
| Date of Stay: | October 2010 |
| I am from: | Singapore |
| Trip Style: | Family & Kids |
| Good Points: | Very impressive premises, the villas are comfortable and spacious as they are luxurious, good buffet fare, free casino and discotheque entry, beautiful garden café, good food, lovely swimming pool, good and prompt service |
| Bad Points: | A little far from the happening places; some places the hotel needs an urgent facelift |
Stayed with my family for a brief vacation and loved the place. The hotels were overbooked since this was the beginning of the peak season and we chanced upon this hotel. I am delighted that we did for we discovered a great place for future vacations.
We stayed at the villa for 5 nights and it was an amazing experience. We almost did not feel the need to go out and see Goa – this is what this hotel does to you, i.e. completely delights and thus eliminates the need of wanting anything more. The pool is great, the food mouthwatering, the service excellent and the ambiance friendly and welcoming.
Since you get free entry to the casino and discotheque you do not even need to seek the night life in Goa. We did go out for two days and had plenty of fun – but we still missed our new home away from home.
I have befriended a few people at the resort and guess what? Some of them are coming back the fourth or fifth time. I was happy to hear that – this means this hotel has kept up with its reputation and I will enjoy its hospitality for many years to come as well.
For those who feel adventurous about food, there are a few superb shacks just outside – check out the Camron Shack and Fusion Restaurant for some superb seafood dishes. Breakfast and all other meals are served as buffet, and the fare served is great.
Definitely a place to be when you want a LOVELY HOLIDAY for your family!!
