"Best hotel you can get around Palolem"
| Date of Stay: | February 2010 |
| I am from: | Chennai |
| Trip Style: | Romantic/Honeymoon |
| Good Points: | Ace facilities; seafood superb; staff well trained; miniature golf course cute |
| Bad Points: | Location is too removed; rooms are small but clean |
We loved this south Goa location because it is removed from all the crowd and noise that is associated with north goa beach hotels. It is quiet and the long strip of beach in front of it is just the "thing" for some personal introspection and romance and love ? We loved sunbathing for hours undisturbed in the nearby Galjabag (turtle beach) with just the sound of waves as our company (and a few very cute but curious local kids :-).
We are visiting Goa regularly for the last 2 decades and we love this south goa area and the Intercontinental lalit is for sure the best hotel you can find around this area of south Goa.

"The GRAND escape from Mumbai"
| Date of Stay: | July 2009 |
| I am from: | Stirling, Scotland |
| Trip Style: | Family & Kids |
| Good Points: | Huge spa, great golf course, Goan casa feel rooms, top class gym |
| Bad Points: | Library is disappointing; distance from Goa airport, swimming pool large but a little shallow |
Luscious south Goa 5 star premises with direct access to the peaceful (half privet) Rajbag beach.
This is the only 5 star in this area and we booked it because we wanted to stay near Palolem beach in which we have stayed last year during winter (high season) but... in monsoon they have NO beach huts (as they take them off for the monsoon time) so we decided to upgrad our stay to a more luxurious monsoon holiday...Local Goan food served here is mouthwatering and service is surely 5* style. The golf course is well manicured and maintained...but most important...kept the kids occupied for a whole 1 day - hehehe,
We visited in mid July when it usually rains heavily in south goa, we have attended my MD husband's international medical convention in Mumbai and us and the kids just wanted to escape from this "crazy" city rush for a few days to enjoy some monsoon nature in a south Goa beach hotel. Nothing is more beautiful than dipping in the pool when the monsoon rain falls - the kids loved it!
nothing more to add...just a TOP class hotel!!.

"Memorable Holiday"

| Good Points: | Swimming Pool, Golf Courses |
| Bad Points: | Distance from Airport, food is lacking love :-( |
Intercontinental The Lalit, Goa is ideal for south goa beach holidays not very good for party or business stay as it is far from Panjim the business capital of Goa. We stayed there for 3 nights-4days during my India trip with my wife and 2 kids. The hotel is very near to the beach...250 yard... and one of the best hotel for swimming and chilling out in the area of the south Goa beaches such as turtle beach (15 minutes ride just around the river...) and the AMAZING Palolim beach.
The service they have provided was excellent and we are happy with the hotel facilities. One thing that cames in mind about this hotel is the EXCELLENT services, light atmosphere with well furnished room. The hotel restaurants are serving very nice buffet at breakfast and dinner but for my taste I found the food very plain in many ways and if u are adding the high prices... This is the only hotel with a golf course in this area of south Goa and it has added extra fun in our holidays and allowed us to have some family quality time along with the archery course and the quite hyperactive guide that the kids loved . I would really recommend this hotel for a memorable! goa beach holidays. and on top of all my wife had no complaints non-so-ever for whole 4 days - LOL - this is what makes any vacation perfect aint it? :-) BTW, thanks goabooking.com for your lovely booking site and stuff
