Had been booked in by a friend and I was a little nervous for I was bringing my family and did not want any nasty surprises. More so because this was the peak season and it would be difficult for us to find another reservation.
Worried for nothing for the hotel was SUPERB!! The hotel is a great property but the best thing about it is the amazing staff and their untiring effort to make their guests comfortable.
Another plus point was that all the great night life is within walking distance from this hotel. Shopping malls, market, all this is within reach – yet the hotel is not touched by noise pollution or the touristy atmosphere that you see in other tourist locations.
We simply loved this hotel!! Definitely coming back here. Definitely!!!

Booked the first hotel we found within reach – and aren’t we happy that we took that chance? We would have never known this wonderful luxury hotel had we not taken a chance on it. We travelled from Mumbai after we have a weekend of fun and chanced upon this hotel in Nerul. WOW!! This is a GREAT PLACE TO STAY!! I would think that it can qualify for 5-star though I think it flashes a 4-star batch.
It has a spa just next door – and this is great. We loved the food; but best of all was the service. No matter how picky we were, the staff were always obliging, courteous and genuinely friendly. Lost two bets trying to prove that the staff would not cooperate. They always did – for this hotel, the Indian adage that “The Guest Is To Be Treated Like God” is totally applied.
We were very impressed. The location is just right; outside the hustle and bustle of the city and right in the vicinity of TWO of the most mesmerizing beaches in North Goa. WOW!!
This is a hotel that I would love to recommend to all I know – this hotel needs tobe discovered and patronaged. SUEPRB Value for money!!

We chose this place on the recommendation of close friends. We were on our holiday. Wanted to book a 5-star hotel, but am happy that I did not. The Sol is simply a treasure of a hotel. I have never felt so pampered and cared for ever – and I do travel a lot. Special and warm thanks go to Mr Ajit Hattangadi (General manager) who really knows how to look after the hotel’s guests. We also loved Saby, the bartender who put together some awesome drinks and regaled us with his wonderful tales.
We stayed 5 days and we loved it. We dipped in the pool, walked down to the beach, relaxed and enjoyed the place thoroughly. The service here is superb as the staff always went out of their way to see that we were comfortable.
We will definitely recommend this place – which has been better than any 5-star hotel I know in Goa – and we will come back for more. We are already missing the wonderful and welcome ambiance of the hotel. :)
