"Ace Hotel!!"
| Date of Stay: | August 2010 |

| Trip Style: | Family & Kids |
| Good Points: | Great rooms, great service, superb food |
| Bad Points: | No faults at all |
Superb location, though not walking distance from the beach. The food, the service and the staff are all so good that you tend to be completely at home after sometime. The hotel has a free shuttle for guests who want to go to Baga beach. A taxi takes about 3 bucks so not to worry on this front.
They have a beautiful garden, and pool too. Saw plenty of non-Indian guests and that gives it a special charm; so many nationalities, so many different cultures. The buffet meals are the best bet and cheapest too.
Loved my stay here. Will come again with my friends!

"Noisy, Loud, But Nice!!"
| Date of Stay: | May 2010 |

| Trip Style: | Leisure |
| Good Points: | Simple and comfortable rooms, superb location on top of hill, 5 minutes drive from the beach |
| Bad Points: | Not walking distance from beach |
This hotel’s location is superb; right on the top on a hill and has a narrow strip of road going down to the beach. I found that charming and a little disturbing when vehicles come the other way.
The place is comfortable in a different way. There is a terrace pool with massage center, which is very good. There is song and dance in the evening and the food is good, too. The atmosphere around the pool is great and most guests forgot about going to the beach and spent the time lazing about the pool.
The Saturday market is a must see, though the things sold here are a little pricey. We got a few things after some heavy bargaining; but the experience is great.
If you have the time, take the Floating Fantasy boat trip.

"Sweet Spot in Goa"

| Good Points: | Rooms are clean, BBQ is lovely, the poolside restaurant is gorgeous; the buffet has three type of rice and roti and naan |
| Bad Points: | Bathrooms are small, |
Unbelievable place! Other than the rooms which look tired and worn out, everything else is superb. We had arranged for pick-up which was prompt and good. There is water placed in your room every day.
The spa treatment is whoooooppeee!!You have to try that out when you are here. Amazing feeling.
The staff are always there to do anything you want. The breakfast, which is inclusive in the price, is good but repetitive. The pool is just perfect.
You cannot go wrong with this place!

"The Right Choice For A Great Time In Goa"
| Date of Stay: | August 2010 |
| I am from: | Bangalore, India |
| Trip Style: | Leisure |
| Good Points: | Superb manager, great food, good service, cannot fault the staff; hourly shuttle to Calangute beach for guests |
| Bad Points: | Rooms are rather shabby |
Were disappointed with the rooms which look rather shabby and unkempt. Then upgraded to superior rooms and we found that to be superb. I am all out to praise the staff who were amazingly attentive to every detail. Special thanks to Wakil and Pappu.
The pool in on the top, but it is beautiful and worth the climb. The food is very good. We ate at Shining Star and Nick’s and loved it.
We went to Mapusa and Ingo market and had a lot of fun there. You need to haggle with the seller to get a good price and this is quite interesting – like a game of the mind.
The rooms look tired and worn out, but they are clean. The mini bar is well stoked and the stuff put in is good. The bathrooms would do with some improvement – especially the shower which had no pressure at all.
Stayed for 5 days and we loved it. Were surprised that they charged for the iron board in the room! Housekeeping is superb.
I liked it and would come again if had the occasion.

"Great Stay At This Hotel!!"
| Date of Stay: | August 2010 |
| I am from: | Shillong, India |
| Trip Style: | Leisure |
| Good Points: | Free pickup, free shuttle to the beach, great food, daily evening entertainment, superb staff |
| Bad Points: | Too many Russian tourists (who are rather rude and loud), |
We reserved our room for two weeks at Sun Village. Loved the pool here. Had trouble one day when the pool had to be closed, but the management arranged transport to alternative spots where one could use the pool.
The best thing here is that there is superb personalized services; staff will go out of their way to see you comfortable and happy. Most of the guests come again more for the great service they receive than anything else.
Food is superb and we tried almost everything on the menu. We also ate outside at some of the great restaurants on the beach. Want to mention the J&A’s Italian in Arapora and East meets West in Baga; they serve superb food here unbelievably cheap.
This is not a 4-star hotel definitely more a 2+ star, but you cannot find fault with it. It kind of grows on you and you do not like it when your holiday comes to an end.
Recommended warmly!!

"Charming and Brilliant!"
| Date of Stay: | June 2010 |
| I am from: | Newcastle, UK |
| Trip Style: | Leisure |
| Good Points: | Spacious suite with kitchen, great BBQ terrace, the food is superb |
| Bad Points: | Excursions were not too great |
We stayed at the superior suite and booked an all inclusive package. This was great because the place was great with a large living room and a mini kitchen and the bedroom huge and comfortable.
The food is something we will remember for a long time. As we were on an all inclusive plan we could order a-la-carte and we did take advantage of that. Oh for the 3-course meal served with lobster, steak, wine and you name it. Superb!! Superb!! Superb!!!
The hotel offers a free shuttle, but you are better off in a taxi that charges some £2 per trip. The hotel is close to a market where you get everything you want and do not want. The sellers are sometimes a little bothersome; but other than that you enjoy shopping as everything is so darned cheap.
Baga is the place you want to be if you like water sports and stuff; the Calangut beach is too crowded, but there is a godo restaurant there – Souza Lobo that you should try at least one.
Had a real charming time here! Will recommend the hotel most definitely.
