It is the first time we had booked online and we were quite anxious about our holiday accommodation. But from the moment we arrived at this cozy resort until the day we left 15 days later, we loved every moment there.
Our breakfast was included in the price and we did not expect much. Surprise!! Surprise!! Breakfast was truly the best meal of the day – sumptuous, fresh, and in plenty. The hotel is beautifully located very high and in the center of the city which gives the best view of the river and city.
We saved a small fortune by travelling by bus – public transport, which we have to say is one of the best in the country. We took the Goa Tourism Development Corporation buses for sightseeing; for just Rs.400 per head we enjoyed two days of sightseeing both in North and South Goa.
The beach is close and so in the River Manodvi. Everything in and around this hotel is romantic and heart warming. The staff on learning that we were on our honeymoon, sent a chocolate cake to the room and fresh flowers.
We have no words for more praise for this hotel! DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED!!!

We went to Sun n Sand Goa on the recommendation of a very close friend and we are reaaly so grateful to him for that. This is indeed an excellent Goa family hotel. We arrived after a tiring Spicejet flight and were promptly picked up by the hotel’s car.
The first impression of the hotel mesmerized us. What a SUPERB view!!! Though this is not a beach resort, it has everything one needs for a great holiday. It is located on a hill which gives a mindblowing view of Panjim, the capital city. The market, the beautiful Mandovi River and amazing delta beach Miramar are within minutes from the hotel.
We loved the food, we loved the service, we loved the pool. The breakfast, which was included in the tariff, was flawless. We could order a different type omelet every day. The staff were always eager to please and ensure that we were comfortable.
The only downside was the moldy smell in the bathrooms. I think with a little maintenance, this problem could be easily overcome.
We had a wonderful holiday at Sun N Sand and we recommend it with all our heart!!!
