"Lovely Vacation!"
| Date of Stay: | July 2010 |
| I am from: | Bradford, UK |
| Trip Style: | Group of friends |
| Good Points: | The pool was clean and beautiful at night; pool bar good; restaurant food good |
| Bad Points: | Reception staff terrible, management slow and dense, housekeeping poor; too much noise |
We spent the New Year at Nilam and for the price it charges I guess it was okay hotel. They charged about £35 a night which I found quite cheap. Rooms were okay, the linen and towels however were not. Had to ask a couple of times before the housekeeping changed them with new ones.
Staff was friendly and helpful and one of the elements that made the hotel a good place to stay. Indian dishes were nice and seafood good. Continental dishes were not upto the mark.
Liked the place for the money; could be better.

"Pleasant Place!"
| Date of Stay: | July 2010 |
| I am from: | Finland |
| Trip Style: | Leisure |
| Good Points: | Staff polite, pool bar well stocked, good food |
| Bad Points: | Not enough sunbeds, no hot water, rather shabby rooms |
We booked through Thomas Cook and were assured that the hotel is 4 star. However, the interiors were not too great. When we complained, we were moved to a newer wing where the rooms were much better. Though a little slow, the management and staff were polite and friendly. The service was quite good and we loved the food, especially the Goan seafood.
The best and what we loved the most was the poolside bar, but unfortunately the sunbeds were limited and therefore had to wake early to reserve or go without.
Nice hotel, close to the shops and life of Calangute.

"Nice but noisy!!"
| Date of Stay: | August 2010 |
| I am from: | Mumbai, India |
| Trip Style: | Leisure |
| Good Points: | Great pool, hospitable staff |
| Bad Points: | Too much noise around the pool throughout the day so it is difficult to rest in the room; very less sub beds, which is a little ridiculous |
I loved the room and the staff. Even the food was good, which many star hotels botch up. What I did not like about the hotel is that it is too noisy. There were many groups that came for some meetings, and made huge rackets. It was almost impossible to relax.
The proximity to the beach was good. I like Calangute which is about 5 minutes walk away. However, I liked Candolim better though you need to take a taxi to reach there.
Would come again if in the vicinity.
