Good restaurants and good food, staff very polite, nice swimming pool
Negative points: For a place which describes itself as a beach resort i is surely too far from the beach, taxis sometimes are out to rip you especially if you are a white-skinned tourist; basic room
Review: Value for money for everything is good here for a phenomenal price. You get a lot for the £80 they charge per night, including Internet, room, great breakfast and free Wi Fi. You want to see the rest of the world, by all means you can do that. Check out the Calngut and Baga beaches in the vicinity.

"Good spot for a good vacation!!"
| Date of Stay: | March 2010 |

| Good Points: | Clean room and lemon aroma toiletries, a short cut behind would have you on the Candolim beach within 5 minutes, plenty of places to east around the hotel, huge complimentary breakfast |
| Bad Points: | Not all food is good, the Chinese and Goan food is too spicy |
We booked online a special deal to Goa that gave us 4 days and 3 nights at a bargain price. We loved the buffet spread which was indeed worthy of a king. The food served at their restaurant, ‘Republic of Noodles’ is superb. Warning – it might be costlier than you would think – but definitely tasty. The service and the attitude of the staff leaves a great mark on your psyche. You like to go back again, and again and again.
All is well at this hotel. Great place for a vacation with friends and/or family

"Stay away from this place "
| Date of Stay: | February 2010 |
| I am from: | Seattle, Washington |
| Trip Style: | Group of friends |
| Good Points: | This hotel is located in the AMAZING Goa! |
| Bad Points: | Way to beach smells of urine, mattress very hard, bathrooms very small, food not good and costly, beach is too far away |
Went to this hotel as it was recommended by some Goan friends of my father in-law. Either I visited at the wrong time, or my friends in a very good time. When I checked into this hotel, everything horrified me. The rooms are average and could be cleaner, bathrooms minuscule, way to beach suffocating with urine smell, and the food leaves to be desired.
Overall this is short of a nightmare. I checked out within 24 hours (must comment that the desk manager Manish, was a very nice guy but that fact was not enough to keep us there) and found myself another accommodation at the Marriott beach resort in Panjim which is for sure one of the best hotels in Goa. We have been to luxury hotels in India before but in my opinion, stay away from this Lemon Tree hotel buy better accommodation in Goa with your $$$s'.

| Good Points: | Happy hours from 6.00 – 8.00 PM, not too far from Baga and also close to other diners |
| Bad Points: | about 10 minutes from the beach, bathrooms small, Goan and Indian cuisine pricey |
We are a group of friends who love travelling and Goa especially. We manage to drop by every now and then and Lemon Tree is among our favorite hangout resorts in Goa because of the happy hours and because it offers remarkable service.
The staff make us feel completely at home and cater to every whim of ours 24x7. This you will never find out anywhere else. Other hotel have friendly staff – but not efficient as well. Any problem or query you have the staff and management of Lemon Tree would offer a workable solution.
Check out when you are here their free DVD movie collection. They have movies in all languages – and it is for free!

"Monsoon in Goa is great at LemonTree"
| Date of Stay: | June 2010 |
| I am from: | Falun, Sweden |
| Trip Style: | Family & Kids |
| Good Points: | Exceptional service, clean rooms, good swimming pool |
| Bad Points: | Can mix up pickup times |
We started on the wrong side. The LemonTree people forgot to pick us up from Dabolim airport in Goa and we were there waiting at the station for more than 1.5 hours. In the end we took taxi to the hotel for 800 rupees. We were angry but when we arrived the staff was very apologetic and accommodating. We were pampered throughout our stay for the whole 7 days.
The food was good and reasonable in cost if compared to other 5 star hotels in Goa. The location is superb as it is close to beach and shopping areas.
Because they forgot to pick us up, they refunded the airport taxi charges which was a fair thing to do.
Loved the hotel and loved the service.

"Super!!!!"

| Good Points: | Courtesy and hospitality of the staff, lovely rooms, super service |
| Bad Points: | Required maintenance around the pool, food is not that great |
The first thing that hits you when you check in is the beautiful blend of Portuguese and Goan architecture and décor. Swimming pool merits mention as does the well stoked sunken bar.
The staff are super. ANtyhing you ask they provide in a jiffy. There is nothing too much trouble and that is what makes this hotel a super place for a Goa holiday.

"Can’t go wrong with Lemon Tree"
| Date of Stay: | February 2010 |
| I am from: | Newcastle, Australia |
| Trip Style: | Solo Traveler |
| Good Points: | Outstanding service; English speaking staff; great food |
| Bad Points: | Everything was great for me |
I found the location of this hotel one of its best plus points. It is close enough to the beach without putting it in the midst of touristy atmosphere. When I came some group was checking in and the manager could not get me my room immediately. They were polite and apologized and also offered complimentary breakfast to make up for the trouble. I was also given a better room than I reserved with no additional charges. I was impressed.
The staff here are all wonderful. I was happy to find that all know English and I had no trouble communicating. The beach is just 5 minutes away, which made my stay very comfortable and pleasant.
The bathroom was clean and toiletries were provided every day. Housekeeping is flawless. The food is good and not as costly as with other 5-star hotels. I found the continental cuisine well prepared and beautifully served.
This is a great hotel. You can’t go wrong with Lemon Tree.

"Good place for a great holiday"
| Date of Stay: | May 2010 |
| I am from: | Hyderabad, India |
| Trip Style: | Leisure |
| Good Points: | Cozy rooms, good poolside bar, informed and helpful staff, great DVD collection that is offered for free |
| Bad Points: | None |
Had to spend a weekend in Goa because was caught between official tours. Had lots of work to do, so I needed a nice and quiet place. I was hugely pleased with the Lemon Tree on all possible aspects.
The rooms are cozy and functional. I found that the cable TV was not working. When I complained I expected the staff to tell me how helpless they were for it was raining heavily. Instead I was happy to find the front office staff offering me to chose from a huge collection of DVD (movies) in all possible languages; both latest and old favorites.
Food was better than I expected. I usually prefer to eat at beach shacks for I find hotel food boring and expensive. Here the breakfast was so good that I want tempted to order lunch which was WOW!
Another beautiful thing is that all the staff here and I mean all wish you when they see you. It is a good feeling.
I wish I could have stayed more. Definitely a place I would go again and recommend.
