"HAD A LOVELY HOLIDAY!!"
| Date of Stay: | August 2010 |
| I am from: | Mysore, India |
| Trip Style: | Leisure |
| Good Points: | Rooms are good; provides wifi net; well maintained gardens good for children to play |
| Bad Points: | Pool small; location bad; food not upto the mark |
Booked a package for 4 nights are were happy with what we got. There have been some problems but the staff were fast to address the problems as soon as we complained. The wifi was not working for 1 day, but was repaired the 2nd day. The poolside restaurant shold be better decorated as it looks shabby.
Food especially Indian is not good at all, we only enjoyed the Goan fish rice here. Otherwise found the beahc shacks and small nearby hotel better and much cheaper. Check Joel’s shack on the beach which serves superb food at dirt cheap prices. The bars in Colva are a good stop.
Overall a good holiday.

"Beautiful and comfortable!!"
| Date of Stay: | June 2010 |
| I am from: | Aberdeen, Scotland |
| Trip Style: | Leisure |
| Good Points: | Great all inclusive deal; spicy and tasty food; 100 yards away from beach; good exchange rates at the hotel |
| Bad Points: | A little off in the bathroom |
Spent 10 days at the Coconut Grove and found the experience refreshing. Do not change your money at the airport. I was paid 55 rupis at the airpiort and 63 rupis at the hotel. Visit to plantation is nto as good as it is rated. They charge 400 rupis for entry and give lunch, which is good. But to ride elephant the charges are 600 rupis – for just 10 minutes.
Rooms are comfortable and clean. Bathroom was a little damp and smelly. Beach is close. A drive by tuk tuk to Colva beach is advisable which is about 2 miles away. Very beautiful place with superb Indian food. Squid is phenomenal don’t miss it.
We stayed in a cottage that overlooked the garden, which is beautiful. The bar is good with cocktails and the staff very efficient and friendly. Travel by tuk tuks instead of taxi and you will save a lot of money. Also the open tuk tuk is more enjoyable.
Drink only bottled water as otherwise you will fall sick. Other than this, everything is just A1 with this place.
