"Lovely and welcoming!!"
| Date of Stay: | July 2010 |
| I am from: | South England |
| Trip Style: | Romantic/Honeymoon |
| Good Points: | Rooms are lovely, staff superb, large swimming pool, good breakfast, lovely setting in the garden, bathrooms clean |
| Bad Points: | Aircon is noisy, furniture needs to be replaced, bathroom fixtures are worn out |
Our stay was comfortable and we found the hotel very charming. The breakfast served in the garden is superb; food is okay. We loved the omelets; we had different filling every single day at no extra cost. The pool is large and comfortable and we spent many afternoons lazing in and around it. They tend to put too much garlic in vegetarian dishes.
We also ate outside and found some great places. You should have steak and chips at the Soumyens kitchen; filelt steak at Le Jardin.
The hotel has direct pathway to the beach, which is a good way to go to the beach. It is advisable to take a taxi to the main beach strip rather than walking. The road does not have a pavement and is very dusty for a walk, which oterhwise should have been very enjoyable. The taxi charge is about 100 rupias which is great.
Watch out for ants who keep popping up everywhere. I advise to buy a local anti-insect spray – we used HIT – and you will have the problem solved.
Take advantage of the massage offered on the beach. It is cheap – only £3 for 45min – and will leave fully relaxed and renewed. While on the beach have the Kingfish plate which is superb.
Great place; very recommended!!

Our reservations were made through Agoda and we were there in the peak season, at the Christmas. The Goa weather is superb at this time and the festivities add to its attraction. We thought we had a great package deal until we reached there.
The rooms were not up to the mark, the gym was under repairs and the Internet is not free. The management is grouch and impolite to say the least. The staff on the other hand is very polite and accommodating, but their attitude cannot make up for the drawbacks.
The roadway to the beach is not illuminated; it scary and lonely in the evening itself, forget about the night. Garbage litters both sides of the road. The hotel is away from any diners; if you want variety you have to go to the other end of Candolim.
The worst part is that they charge for the Internet ($2/ 30 minutes) that works at snail pace, which was ridiculous.
We would never come here again, nor recommend this hotel to anybody.

"Just the right Goa Experience!!"

| Trip Style: | Group of friends |
| Good Points: | Access to beach from inside the resort |
| Bad Points: | Service is slow |
Stayed here before; we come every year to Goa. We come in a group of 8-10 people and stay at the villa, which we find superb. Large, well maintained and has direct path to the beach, which for us is the greatest advantage.
Food is good, but you can eat better on Calangute beach or any beach shack; it is cheaper out. The pool is not huge, but large enough not to feel crowded when other people jump in.
Loved the staff who are always smiling. The gardens and greenery around were very soothing and comfy. The rooms are serviced every day and the staff are honest. Twice they returned money that had flown to the floor; once a 500 rupee note and another time a 50 rupee note; that impressed all of us.
Love the place and we will always come here whenever we take our yearly holiday to Goa.
