"My Second Time Is As Good As The First "

This is the second time I reserved with the Royal Orchid Resort because I loved the first time. While my first time was during the peak season of Christmas and New Year, the second time was during monsoons.
I love the massages, the superb bar, the beautiful beach with the finest white sand, and the food. You just need to step out of the resort and find yourself on the beach. The pool has an open air Jacuzzi which is very good.
I love Indian food and found the cuisine here very well prepared. The mushroom omelets should not be missed.
My only bone of contention was that the housekeeping needed several reminders before changing towels and bed sheets. The room service too moves at snail pace. Be prepared to wait for about 45 minutes to an hour for anything you order to room service.
A well deserved 3-stars label.

This is a great place for families with small children. The hotel is clean, provides cozy ambiance and the manager, Mr Mayekar is excellent with the guests. The hotel is good by any standards and we enjoyed our stay there. The fish pond before you reach the lobby is superb. The tranquility of the place was very relaxing and rejuvenating.
What we did not like was the food because it was not tasty and very expensive.
