"AVOID THIS PLACE!!"
| Date of Stay: | September 2010 |
| I am from: | Chennai, India |
| Trip Style: | Group of friends |
| Good Points: | Good property, great staff – especially Prashant and Gautam. |
| Bad Points: | Negative points: Front desk people were impolite |
Were here for 5 days and six nights and I did not enjoy the trip. We had checked in a basic room, and it took us an age to have ti changed. The front office people chose to scream at us, instead of checking whether our complaints were legitimate. Took a while to sort it out,
Staff who cleaning the pool with ammonia bags – how can that be possible in the present day. Cleanliness is a big issue in this place. Towels and general toiletry is not there? The mattresses and pillows are horrible. The air conditioner was making HUGE noise. Bedsheets were not cleaned every day; and there was dog poop on the lawn round the clock.
Our room had some very depressing view – a slum with very poor people. Everything around them is depressive. Furniture was terrible old and scribbled upon. Bathrooms were not washed, which was horrifying. The room really looks like a prison cell and feels like one.
Special thank you to the bra staff, Rocky and Ganga, who really attended to us exclusively. But for them our stay in the place would have been terrible.
This is a place that I would NOT recommend EVER!!

"MADE FOR FOREIGNERS!! "
| Date of Stay: | February 2010 |
| I am from: | Bangalore, India |
| Trip Style: | Group of friends |
| Good Points: | : Lovely river view rooms, air conditioners new, LCD TV, clean rooms |
| Bad Points: | Staff chased only after foreigners, bed very hard, they charge Rs.200/- per night for the fridge |
This is definitely not a 5-star hotel; but then, you are not paying 5-star prices either. While the room is clean and welcoming, the food is not that great. Breakfast included in the tariff is a joke. The bathrooms needed renovation and thorough cleaning. Beds were very uncomfortable and the management simply shrugged their shoulder when we complained. Stray dogs create a racket at night and we could not sleep.
Staff only ran after foreigners; we had to call three times before one responded.
Not a hotel for Indian guests. Unfortunately, this is a resort that prefers non-Indian guests.

"WHAT CRAP PLACE!!"
| Date of Stay: | July 2010 |
| I am from: | Sussex, UK |
| Trip Style: | Solo Traveler |
| Good Points: | Food was cheap and good, the beach just 10 minutes away by walk, transport available just outside the hotel |
| Bad Points: | Tiny rooms with bad smell, aircon always one step away from stopping, not clean at all, staff insolent; few sunbeds; no Internet, bar closes at 11 PM |
Found the rooms TERRIBLE and wanted a change. The manager said we need to wait for the management for such a grave decision. Had to wait for 1 and half hours before at last we were ushered into another room. This one had most modern amenities minus refrigerator.
The pool is smallish, but they did not have enough sunbeds for the guests, which was terrible again.
The food they serve is neither Indian nor continental – and the mix they have is pathetic. The surrounding of the place is dirty and the housekeeping is crap.
DO NOT GO HERE – NOT WORTH THE MONEY!
