| Bad Points: | None |
This is the third time we chose to stay at Nizmar. The rooms and the hotel is a little worn out but the atmosphere here is heartwarming. We have come back each time because we feel good and so welcome here.
We owe a special thanks to the rooms boys Dattaram and Damu whose service was always with a sweet smile; it amazed us how these people can always be so ready to please and serve. Ms D’Souza the front office manager is outstanding with her inimitable style that keep you wanting to come back to this hotel for more. She is a great asset to the hotel.
What touched us most is the volunteering to cook special food for us when we felt that the buffet was nto upto our taste. The alternative food was cooked fast and without any extra charge. Our deep gratitude goes to Carl and the restaurant captain who was always careful that we are well served and taken care of.
As I said earlier, we keep coming back to this hotel because we feel we are staying with our family. Each person here contributes with all their heart to our comfort and enjoyment. This hotel will remain on our favorite list. We are already planning to come back for New Year 2010!!!!

"Budget and hospitable hotel full of fun"
| Date of Stay: | November 2009 |
| I am from: | Groningen, Netherlands |
| Trip Style: | Romantic/Honeymoon |
| Good Points: | Pool clean, well stocked mini bar in the room, good location |
| Bad Points: | Ayruvedic center not at all good; massages were terrible |
We had fun. My girlfriend and I visited many parts of India, but I think Goa is the best. Nizmar is not 5 star and so you should not go expecting luxury. But it is a good budget hotel with all comforts that you would want in a hotel. For one - it is clean and the staff are always ready to help you. We were given 3 complimentary meal coupons and the buffet spread was very good. We had asked for chicken stew a number of times and every time it was cooked with care and served fast.
We both hated the massage center. After the massage we felt like we were beaten up instead of relaxed. I don’t recommend you go for massage. The food is not expensive but we found the beach shack food was better and much cheaper. It is also very fresh if you love seasfood.
Calangute beach which is just a stick away from the hotel is a little too turisty. We loved instead Candolim and Baga beaches which are a short taxi ride. The taxi would take about 300 rupies and it is well worth it.
This is a good budget hotel. My girlfriend was so happy here. We are going back with some great memories from here.

"Nizmar hotel is good, but could be better"
| Date of Stay: | April 2010 |
| I am from: | Chennai, India |
| Trip Style: | Group of friends |
| Good Points: | Location is first class; good staff |
| Bad Points: | No elevator; poor quality food; bus for sightseeing shabby |
The hotel is just 10 minutes away from Calangute beach, which immediately made it a favorite spot. We loved the rooms – large and spacious though we were disappointed with the level of maintenance of the hotel.
Our disappointment was not long-lasting because the staff were exceptionally responsive. Everything we asked for was complied with immediately. The evening programs were very entertaining and beautiful. There was classical dances, karaoke nights, open air barbeque which was so good.
We did not like the sightseeing bus because it was very shabby and that dampened the spirit of the trip, Also the tour was poorly conducted. There were too many stops to pick up people and too less time for sightseeing.
We loved the hotel, but it could have been better. It needs more maintenance and attention. With a little investment this hotel would be a gold mine.

"Superb holiday at Nizmar Resort"
| Date of Stay: | October 2009 |
| I am from: | Kolkata |
| Trip Style: | Family & Kids |
| Good Points: | Superb BBQ and bar |
| Bad Points: | Room services is slow |
We had a taken an impromptu holiday to Goa after my husband got his puja bonus. We had planned to stay 4 nights at Nizmar Resorts, but ended up staying the whole week because the hotel ambiance and the beauty of Goa was so amazing. We loved the BBQ fare in the evening, the buffet breakfast in the morning, and the so greatly friendly staff. Each evening had some or other even planned which left us spellbound.
Only one thing we resented – they remove the sunbeds at around 5 PM because they need to arrange the tables for dinner (around the pool). We often wanted to laze around the pool for longer time.
We loved our stay at Nizmar; we loved Calangute; we loved Goa. Will visit again very soon.
