Comment:
Stayed with three friends at Lotus Beach resort and found it pleasant. I was very annoyed with young men trying to photograph and film me while I was in the swimming pool. That spoiled some of my fun.
The hotel is close to the beach which was a great advantage. The staff are good but a bit slow. Room service is horrendous. It takes more than 30 minutes for anything to come through and often it is not what we asked.
Food is better outside. I liked the grilled squid they serve here and the Goan style fish and rice. Be sure to ask for sorpatel (Goan pork dish) if you want something spicy and tasty.
Pleasant but could be better.
