"Nice, but could be even nicer!! "
| Date of Stay: | August 2010 |
| I am from: | Auckland, New Zealand |
| Trip Style: | Leisure |
| Good Points: | Staff great, pool superb, food was good |
| Bad Points: | Linen and towels to be changed more often |
The Horzion first is shocking for the approach is through an oddly slum type area. But once you reach the hotel you love it. The rooms are not too large but they are comfortable and clean. We loved the smell which was fresh and non-artificial. The staff were superb; they could not do enough for us. I appreciate the housekeeping which was done daily; however, they should change the bedsheets and towels daily as well for the dust is everywhere all the time.
We did not eat at the hotel other than breakfast, which we found good. They made eggs to order and the tea/ coffee was superb.
The pool does not have much sun on it, but that makes it a great place to relax in the evening with snacks and a few drinks. Perfect for leisure, a book and some wow seafood snacks.
We loved it here – and we would definitely come again.

"A GOOD FIND! "
| Date of Stay: | September 2010 |
| I am from: | Durham, UK |
| Trip Style: | Leisure |
| Good Points: | Location is superb, rooms superb, free wi-fi, lovely pool with whirlpool; good service, booze very cheap |
| Bad Points: | Alarm of the elevator annoying |
Rooms are beautiful. The Manager was very knowledgeable about Goan history and places of historical attraction in Goa. The staff were simply superb. Always there, protective and informative. Special and warm thanks for Robert the room boy who was such a help. The hotel tariff included breakfast which was good – and we all enjoyed it. Food was superb and with beer costing 50 p this was paradise. For a change you could go to Palm Tree which serves superb food. By the way it is owned by a British couple Max and Jane.
The service was good and we enjoyed our stay. Other than that everything was comfortable as a 3-star hotel would be.
