"Value for your money!"
| Date of Stay: | August 2010 |
| I am from: | London UK |
| Trip Style: | Romantic/Honeymoon |
| Good Points: | Helpful staff, cheap food and drinks, clean rooms |
| Bad Points: | Noisy at night |
We were warned that ‘good’ has different connotations in India and we understood why. This is a ‘good’ resort in an Indian way. It has clean but very basic rooms, our room view was a depressing slum (so we never opened the curtains), the bathrooms are passable, but clean (which is important), and the furniture a little tired.
We loved the food and drinks which were unbelievably cheap. We never had to worry about prices while we were here. Breakfast in included in the reservation. The food was good; we also loved the food at the Mermaid.
It becomes a little noisy at night with people around having parties and stuff. But overall is a hotel that gives you value for your money.
