"Budget and nice!"

| Good Points: | Cheap, free breakfast, awesome rooms, superb food |
| Bad Points: | Everything is self-service |
Bang in the middle of Panjim, this makes for a great location. You can go anywhere in Panjim and it would be about 10-15 minutes away. Market is 15 minutes away, Miramar beach is about 15 minutes away, restaurants and shopping arcades are around the place. You can visit both North Goa beaches and South Goa beaches with equal ease from here.
Found the breakfast too Indian – but overall good taste and variety of dishes. There were days when I ate too heavy a breakfast and did not need lunch anymore!!!
This is lovely if you like budget hotels with no frills!

| Good Points: | Cheap, centrally located, good food, no hotel staff no tips, good housekeeping |
| Bad Points: | Not so great view from the room, noisy |
I liked it that there were no staff around. No work no tip was a change for me. We took our suitcases to our room ourselves and found the rooms to be cool. It was clean, smelling of fresh lemon, and very comfortable. No room service here.
Breakfast served was buffet system and had enough variety to last you through the day. The a la carte food was also good, but the charges are high. Better eat outside for you get better value for money.
It is basic but it good and comfortable. Other than the food everything else is fine. Definitely recommend it to friends.

"CHEAP AND GOOD!"
| Date of Stay: | December 2009 |

| Good Points: | Cheap even during holidays of Christmas and New Year |
| Bad Points: | A little boring |
It has a central location which makes it a joy for everything is close by – shopping places, restaurants, churches, beach. The locations is very good. This is a Tata hotel and has a special characteristic – it does not have bellboys. They encourage self-service in everything possible.
Food is good but expensive. Breakfast is included in the Ginger tariff and it is good. The staff are not as friendly as in other hotels which is a big turn down.
It is cheap however, which makes it a good choice for people who want a great vacation at economy price.

| Good Points: | Good location, good breakfast, good rooms, |
| Bad Points: | Bad approach road, staff very stiff, cleanliness in the buffet area is a bit of a problem, some places show fatigue |
Ginger is a great place if you like to stay close to shopping complexes and stuff. This hotel is in the center of the capital. The rooms are nice and very clean and I loved the breakfast.
The staff however are another thing. We stayed for 5 days and in all that time, I have not seen one staff smiling, which was terrible. Goa people are very friendly so this was a surprise and a first too. It upset me.
Satish from the help desk was helpful. He was the only person who went out of the way to help us. One day during some local holiday, he gave us his car to use since there were no taxis available. Touched by this gesture.
Overall you can say the place is very economical for the fare it offers, but I have seen better hotels in terms of property and service.

"Economical luxury!!"
| Date of Stay: | September 2010 |
| I am from: | Newark, USA |

| Good Points: | 10 minutes from beach, free excellent breakfast, LCD TV, good gymnasium, air conditioner quiet and effective, great location right in the center of the Panjim |
| Bad Points: | Food is pricy |
Chose this hotel more for the location than anything else. Did good on that matter as it is located right in the heart of Panjim the capital of Goa. You are just a stone throw away from all the good places from here.
Breakfast is complimentary and too good. Do not go for room service as it is not good. But restaurant serves great buffet lunch and dinner though expensive. Food is costly inside so we went to discover some great eating places outside. Loved the Kamat Towers just across the road which charged us about $3 for superb fish and rice and coke. Could not believe it when I saw the bill. Another great place is the Marigold just a 200 meters away. Have Chinese food here – it is too good.
I liked this hotel very much!! Will come again if I get the chance!

"TOO WONDERFUL FOR WORDS!!!!!! WOW!!!"
| Date of Stay: | October 2010 |
| I am from: | Secunderabad, India |
| Trip Style: | Leisure |
| Good Points: | Great rooms, housekeeping flawless, well furnished, self help is good, great buffet breakfast |
| Bad Points: | Food very expensive |
The best thing about this hotel is its impeccable ambiance. Everything is clean and just so pristine. There are no bell boys or room service as this hotel promotes self service. It was not as much trouble as it sounds.
The rooms were inviting and warm. There was a fridge and lots of stuff there. The view was not too cool, but it was not bad either. The staffs are very professional and a little aloof for my liking. I am used with Goan staff fawning on me – and I missed that.
The breakfast buffet was too good. Other than that we tried to eat twice at the hotel and found the food good but quite expensive. Eat at beach shacks – you get great view and superb food quite cheap.
There is nothing that I did not love at this hotel Superb all the way!!
