"PATHETIC"

| Good Points: | Location |
| Bad Points: | Room service, over priced |
The worst place for a vacation. Its too over priced and every effort is made to fleece the foreigners who visit Goa. The room service is too slow and the problem is nobody cares. The food is too too bad. The hotel is dirty while waiters and staff are a bunch of senseless people who just don't give a damn. I doubt how can anybody like it reading the reviews. I think the hotel owners themselves have written these reviews so as to make a fool of the people who book online.
Its a total wastage of money. Never ever go back to this hotel. It sucks.

| Bad Points: | Rooms smlled of mold; beach served food was cold |
Visited Goa in December 2009 and stayed at Esterla for 7 days at Xmas time. Hotel is good and staff friendly. We liked the food but was ofen cold. Closeby beach is good. Children played well. Need to maintain hotel room better. Staff good and always smiling.
Gala dinner costed rupies 2500 per person, which was much. But food was good. Nice stay.

| Bad Points: | Bathrooms are very dark and small; needs better maintenance; hotel not like in the photos |
We stayed at this hotel in February 2010 and found the hotel very dirty and unkempt. Staff were friendy and helpful but always looking for tips and it became a problem to ask for anything. Not cool at all!
Food is served in the beach, but always cold. The drinks were sometimes mixed up. Rooms are large but not well maintained.
Not a place I would come back again.

| Good Points: | Budget cost; clean rooms; close-by beach; good tasty food served right on the beach |
| Bad Points: | Pool small, best only for kids, hotel not like in the picture on website; cremation ground in close vicinity |
We stayed at the hotel in February 2010 and found it welcome. We especially liked the kaju fenny and fish-rice made in Goan style. The receptionist Jacqueline was extremely helpful at all times. Rooms are clean and good.
The staff are good and the food tasty. Room service was fast unlike other places where we stayed. Food was always hot and fresh. Mocktails served are rocking. Good value for your money this Estrala resort.

| Bad Points: | Pool is quite small though clean, breakfast good but monotonous |
Location of the hotel is ace!!! The one thing we loved was the seafood on the barbie in the evenings. The Manager of the Estrela was a Mr Shrishendu De – top class. He looked after us and cared for us every day of our stay. Will never forget this man.
Goa is a great place for us because of the excellent hospitality this man offered us when we stayed at his hotel. Should go and visit this place. Fully worth the money.

"SUPERB MONSOON HOLIDAY!!"
| Date of Stay: | August 2010 |
| I am from: | Kolkatta, India |
| Trip Style: | Family & Kids |
| Good Points: | Breakfast is good; good deal for off season; beach shack very good; beach in walkable distance |
| Bad Points: | Taxis overcharge; close to a unused cremation ground, which was a little creepy; swimming pool is a little too small |
We booked Estrela in August for a 5 day break for a family of four. We found the food especially the breakfast and dinenr which was included in the deal very good. When we asked the cook to modify a few things for us, he promptly obliged.
Rooms are large and clean. You get rooms service round the clock which is great for people who stay out late like us. Visit Casino Royal which is WOW!! For Rs.500 you will have unlimited drinks and food.
We found the hotel and staff excellent. Will come again when we visit Calngut Beach in Goa.
