| Bad Points: | Rooms, food, staff, swimming pool – in other words everything |
This is our third time in Goa and the first time we checked into such a terrible quarter. We arrived at about 3 PM and were told that the rooms were not ready. Almost an hour past, the staff showed us to a room that looked still lived in by the previous occupant. The restroom was a mess, the room bare and musty.
We asked to clean the room adequately and they did after three reminders. Even after the supposed cleaning, the room was still much to be desired. We went to the bar and ordered drinks when a large cockroach flew and landed on my wife’s arm.
We immediately packed out.

"Terrible Place!!"
| Date of Stay: | April 2010 |

| Good Points: | Cheap, clean swimming pool |
| Bad Points: | Everything else – rooms were dingy, food terrible, staff very surprisingly not friendly |
My husband and I have travelled a lot in India and we are aware that the budget hotels here can be pretty shocking. However, we never expected a proposed 4-star hotel to be so bad. It was a little more than camping.
Our room was on the ground floor next to a store of some kind. We found cockroaches the size of a medium size palm in the room – maybe because of the storeroom. Also there were ants everywhere, including beds. On complaining, the staff literally dragged their feet and very reluctantly cleaned the room.
The hotel is NOTHING like the photos on the website. Maybe once upon a time this hotel was a great place. Not now. It is worth to pay some $20 more and get a room at better hotels that stay here.
Beware of the food! Most of the time is uncooked; when it is cooked you cannot make out the taste.
Not recommendable at all.
