The Village Royale Holiday Home, Goa is about 42 kms away from the airport (Dabolim) and about 28 kms away from Thivim, the railway station. Panjim/ Panaji – the Capital City of Goa – is just 15 kms away and the beautiful Calangute beach about 3 kms away. Close to the Calangute beach is another wonderful beach, the Baga beach which offers plenty of water sports and related entertainment during the season (Oct – April).

The hotel is cheap. You can have some amazing fish fillet for just about INR180 or £3. AMAZING FARE!!! Rooms are good, and most important very clean. They also clean the pool twice a day. Rooms are well cleaned and maintained on daily basis.
Hotel taxies are more expensive than regular taxis outside. Look up Claudio who runs a taxi nearby. His taxi registration is GA-01-Z-5H16. He is a remarkable person; not able to recommend him enough!!!
Very close to Calangute and Baga beach. We mostly walked them up and enjoyed it too.

Came and checked in at the reference of a friend and God bless him – it is a superb place. Located just on the beach the room views are to be seen to be believed.
Above everything else, was the hospitality of staff there. Everyone is on the standby for you; you only have to say it and it is done. This gives you a good feeling about the hotel.
You want to experience Goan hospitality – stay at this hotel!!!

I was attracted to this hotel especially because of the minuscule tariff they charge. In the end it looked that it would better if we found another place to stay. The rooms we were ushered in were terrible.
On the suggestion of one of the staff, I took a chance and asked for an upgrade. Superb!!!! I liked the results. The new wing rooms were splendid. No more trouble after the initial shock.
After you get over your little shock, you could let yourself go and enjoy some great times here.
