We chose this particular place because it was perfectly located close to both Calangute and Baga beaches. While the room is very basic (that is expected for they charge about Rs.1000 per day), one would expect the service to be top class. It is not and that is disappointing.
The free breakfast is just toast and butter and some tea; which is just better than nothing.
I observed that the service is better with foreigners – maybe because they tip better, which is again very disappointing.
Joe the owner of the place, is very popular with the non-Indian guests, which says that he takes trouble to see that they are better looked after. I am sorry to say, but Indian guests are left to fend for themselves.
I would still go again here because you get an air conditioned room for just a thousand bucks, which is okay for me. It could be better though if the service was improved.
