"Cheap, Safe and OKAY Hotel!"
| Date of Stay: | September 2010 |
| I am from: | Yorkshire, UK |
| Trip Style: | Leisure |
| Good Points: | Friendly staff, rooms clean, cheap tariff |
| Bad Points: | Breakfast (free) very basic, bathrooms show lack of maintenance, far from beach, air conditioner antique, refrigerator poor condition, pool too tiny |
I had reserved a Royal Heritage Resort room online because it was reported as safe and clean. The rooms are okay, but very basic and small. Clean they are so no complaints here. Breakfast is free and next to nothing – toast butter jam, if you can call that breakfast.
The housekeeping was good, and fresh towels were given every day. The linen was not without stain, but I guess in India this is something you need to put up with.
The room was cheap at £23 per night in January, so this curtails my winning about stuff I expected and did not get.
I would not say this is a star hotel; rather a lodge type – but it is comfortable and clean and this is very important.
