" Ancient and beautiful"
| Date of Stay: | December 2010 |
| I am from: | New Delhi |
| Trip Style: | Leisure |
| Good Points: | Close to all good places in Goa yet removed from the crowd, well maintained premises, great management and staff, great service, good food, superb interior décor, air conditioner work almost noiselessly |
| Bad Points: | Breakfast needs to be improved pronto, the rooms facing the road are far too noisy as sound gets in |
Stayed here on an impulse as we were passing through Panjim to settle for a leisure two week holiday in South Goa. Been for 2 nights and 3 days and loved the place. There is in fact no negative aspect here other than the breakfast which is a little Spartan. Other than this small detail, everything in this hotel is welcoming, inviting and comfortable.
We spent a very happy 3 days here. Loved the staff, loved the food, and simply adored the rooms. The staff were always there to comply to our every wish – which was touching to say the least.
Loved the place. Will gladly recommend Welcome Heritage Panjim Inn and Panjim Peoples to friends and everyone I know.

| Good Points: | Well managed hotel, clean, complimentary Wi-Fi in the room, best for honeymooners, staff superb, management very guest-friendly |
| Bad Points: | A little away from the places of attraction, breakfast was not so good |
Been to Goa three years on a row, but this is the first time we stayed at the Welcome Heritage Panjim Inn and Panjim Peoples. To tell the truth, the hotel is an excellent place for vacation. We were celebrating our 7th wedding anniversary and we loved the fact that this place was not exactly in the midst of touristy places of Goa.
We specially appreciated the warmth showered upon us by the staff. They were superb. The restaurant staff were a little inexperienced as at least of three occasions while we dined there, they got our orders wrong. Lunch and dinner are good – quality, quantity and taste. We specially loved the sorpatel and chicken xacuti – both regional dishes, both delicious.
Be warned though that breakfast is murder. We had - or rather tried to have it - twice and gave up. We ate breakfast in the lovely café at the end of the road for the rest of our two weeks stay at Welcome Heritage Panjim Inn and Panjim Peoples.
We especially loved the antique furniture and the charming ancient interior décor. It is like you walk into history. The hotel has successfully managed to blend traditional looks with modern-day comfort. They offer complimentary Internet access, which is great.
Overall, we would say that this is a great hotel to spend a holiday. You will definitely not be disappointed in accommodation or food. And we will surely visit again if we are in the vicinity. Well worth the money you pay.
