"HOSPITABLE AND WARM!!"
| Date of Stay: | December 2010 |
| I am from: | Vaxjo, Sweden |
| Trip Style: | Family & Kids |
| Good Points: | Very affordable, clean rooms, great service, staff very friendly, very good location |
| Bad Points: | Not on the beach hotel, no refrigerator in the room, no safe in the room, food very spicy, bed hard |
Booked Hotel Blessings online. We are two girl students who wanted a great vacation on low budget. We liked this hotel and we booked online. Found it nice. Rooms are usually not clean as on European standards. This hotel room was clean and staff were cleaning it every day. They provided toilet roll also; other budget hotels did not.
Room was air conditioned and comfortable. Bed was a little hard but we guess in India, beds are different for all other hotels had hard beds. Food served was very good. Loved the seafood but it was a little too spicy. Chef agreed to make it less spicy for us. Many nearby restaurants also.
Miramar beach is the closest to this hotel and the beach is nice but you cannot swim there. It is good for sunbathing and we did a lot of that there. Baga beach is greatest for water sports. This is about 15-20 minutes drive. We loved the banana ride and dolphin sightseeing. Parasailing was also fun though quite scary.
The hotel organized North Goa and South Goa sightseeing which was nice. We also went to the spice gardens. Better take private taxi for spice garden they charge less. The cruise on Mondovi River is also very nice though very short. By the time you start enjoying it is over.
While you are here do go to Casino Royale which is a stone throw away from this hotel. Superb place for thrills.
We stayed on the fifth floor and loved our rooms. We read that this hotel is one of the better three star Goa hotels and we agree. This is a very good 3-star hotel and we enjoyed it plenty.
Definitely recommend it to our friends who want to take a vacation to India; we too if we come again, would like to stay again at this hotel for more than anything it is very hospitable and warm!!!

"A GOOD BUDGET HOTEL!!"
| Date of Stay: | January 2011 |

| Good Points: | Within my budget, close to all beaches I love, good food, great staff |
| Bad Points: | No negative points here |
I love Goa but I always find it a little out of reach when it comes to accommodation during the peak season. I do not like to compromise too much on comfort and I do not have a large budget so it is usually hard for me to get what I want. Hotel Blessing is a good budget hotel that has everything you need, i.e. swimming pool, good location and air conditioning and still offers a reasonable tariff.
I came across this hotel during my last visit to Goa when I stayed in Panjim Residency and I was enjoying Panjim on foot. I liked it and had made a mental note to stay here next time I would be in Goa. And so I did. I do not regret it at all. The hotel is budget friendly, offers all the amenities I need and in bang in the heart of Panjim. What more you would need?
You cannot walk down to any beach from this hotel; but even so this is within maximum 15-30 minutes away from any popular beach in North Goa, i.e. Calangute, Baga, Candolim, Miramar, Sinquerim, Anjuna, Vagator and many more. The location is really good.
The staff are always ready to guide and help you find the best deal for your sightseeing trips – and this can save you a bag full of money as well for though Goan people are some of the most kind and hospitable people, there are still a few wolves in lamb clothing that just wait on the sides to pry upon hapless tourists and fleece them. If you stay here ensure to consult with the front desk every time and any time you want to go anywhere – they will give the best route and also the best way to save money while getting there.
This hotel is good and I recommend it heartily to all those who want most value for their money in Goa!

"JUST WHAT WE WANTED!!"
| Date of Stay: | November 2010 |
| I am from: | Chennai, India |
| Trip Style: | Leisure |
| Good Points: | Located in the heart of Panjim city, close to Miramar beach, close to the river cruise outlet on Mondovi, all amenities, close to the market, lovely swimming pool |
| Bad Points: | Very stupid check out time, room service very slow, beach NOT within walking distance |
We loved the place more for the location than anything else. Bang in the center of Panjim, it saved us a lot of money while going up and down for shopping. The hotel has a wonderful bar and good restaurant. The food is costly but very tasty. For a change and less costly fooding, just step outside towards the market side – you will be flooded with choices. Check out Royal Chicken in the Panjim market for some nice biryani, chicken kafrael and chicken lollypops. Yummy!
The rooms offers all the amenities you would need for a very comfortable stay – it has tv air conditioning, attached bathroom and all. What bothered us a little was that the room service took forever – and often they forgot what was order (and so did we after so much waiting).
We had booked this hotel online as a honeymoon couple and we had much more expectations. The hotel is good, no complaints here. But the service something dampened the mood.
We loved the swimming pool and the front desk organized sightseeing and boat cruise on Mondovi River which we really loved. The cruise is for one hour and they make you dance and sing – had a lot of fun on the cruise – we went on Santa Monica and it was superb.
We also loved the Calangute beach though this is always crowded. The Mioramar beach is the closest but does not have much to enjoy here other than evening stroll and nice junk food; the best and our favorite was the Candolim beach. This is quiet and gave us enough privacy while we swam, sun bathed and enjoyed the beauty of Goa.
Food is very expensive at this hotel. Breakfast was included and was good. Best is to have it in the restaurant for is you order it in the room, you will grow old waiting for it.
Other than the very slow and irritating rooms service this hotel can have 5 out 5 marks!! WE LOVED IT!!
