Comment:
The first thing that made us smile were the cleanliness of the rooms. Every room is well maintained and fresh. They serve a great breakfast right on the beach – fruit platter for veg and bacon and sausage for non veg. There is also omelet and toast with butter and jam.
The bar is set up at 7 PM every day and they serve lovely drinks at unbelievable prices. Try the local stuff a brew by the name of Feni which is made out of cashew nuts. The drinks are accompanied by papad (special Indian fry) which was very tasty.
The beach is just a stone throw away and is clean. Whether you like the swimming pool or the sea – both are beautiful, within reach and refreshing.
A word of advice – walking on the road in Candolim could be a little scary for the uninitiated. There is no side walk and vehicles go everywhere. Navigating the road is like an adventure by itself.
